JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Graff State Certified Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that every vehicle that enters our service center is treated with the same level of care and diligence as your own, and leaves running at its very best. We're looking for a service tech to join our team who has a proven track record of quality automotive maintenance and repair skills, takes great pride in their work, and who understands that our customer's safety and security hinges upon their dedication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency, and in accordance with dealership test-drive vehicles, test components, and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Clearly communicate directly with the Service Adviser so that dealership customers can be informed of the status of their vehicle and if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean
• Uphold dealership service quality standards and expectations

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma
• State Certification in Automotive
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Must be a fast learner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to maintain a neat and orderly workstation
• Ability to identify problems quickly
• GM experience encouraged
